First NY Audition Tomorrow

I’m excited, but a little apprehensive – I came down with a wicked head cold last night.  I’m more confident now, though.  Nothing gets me back on track quite like family.

Life is good.  Saw “Peter and the Starcatcher” a few nights back with my friend Andi Alhadeff and her folks, some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet.  Howie Kaye next door gave me an hour long monologue coaching session for free yesterday because he’s an incredible guy.  I sent in an application to The William Esper Studio for their six week summer intensive – I was told to look into the program from a teacher back in Seattle.  You can find more about the studio here.

After my audition tomorrow, I head over for a readthrough of a new script by Christine Schmidt.  Then Friday I meet up with Rhapsody Collective for the first time.

Breaking legs all day,

Nathan Shapiro
