What a long, strange trip it's been.
We shot Scenes From The Underground, the culmination of countless hours and three years of work. We're in the midst of the edit now, and it looks beautiful. There will be more to come on that in the next year as we set our sites on film festivals.
Soon By You has garnered over 200k+ views in it's first three episodes, and the reception has been fantastic. Looking forward to more throughout the new year.
I've been hitting up a fair amount of the One-on-One sessions in preparation for pilot season. It's nice to be able to connect with new people, in addition to seeing some familiar faces.
I'm writing a new script - a feature length thriller. It's coming along well, and there should be more information on that in the coming months as other things start coming together.
A feature I had a small supporting role in just dropped it's first trailer, you can check it out here.
There were some terrible things that happened this year. I buried some friends. I'm grateful for the problems I have, that I get to be here and work hard, sometimes with little success, at something I love.
As for what's next: keep plugging along on Scenes as it pushes through post, keep writing this script, and try and be seen by as many casting directors as I can. I'm also looking for representation, and have a few leads on that front. It's all yet to be revealed, but I think I'll make my way through it all right. I've got a good team and a lot of support from good people.
Peace out, 2016.
